I recommend switching colors every 2 rows, but feel free to color change whenever you like. To end your row: In the very last ch 1 space of the row work a V stitch, then without chaining, working in the very last 3, in that space, put a DC. After you’ve completed the second V stitch, don’t chain 1 just V stitch into the next Ch 1 space to create your down peak. Ch 1 and V stitch in the next two ch 1 spaces. Crochet a V stitch, ch 3, v stitch to create your upper peak. V stitch & ch 1 in the ch 1 space, then repeat by doing a V stitch & ch 1 in the next ch 1 space. We’ll be working in the ch 1 spaces from last row, not the v stitches. To end your row: Your last 6 chains you will skip 3 and V stitch in next stitch, then without chaining 1 just DC in last ch. Then without chaining sk 3 sts and do a V stitch.
